We are pleased to welcome you to Ordiquhill Primary School website.

Ordiquhill School is a non-denominational school with a role of 63 Primary Pupils and has a capacity of 16 Nursery Pupils. The school serves Knock, Ordiquhill and Cornhill catchment area.

The school and nursery is comprised of three main buildings, with canteen, offices, nurture room and classroom located in the lower building, classrooms, nursery and staffbase in the upper building and between them a school hall.  The school hall is also used by the toddler group on a Friday morning, and by the Parent Council for termly events.  We also have a large tarmaced playground, a large playing field and outdoor learning classroom plus access to another outdoor learning area and woodland.  We encourage pupils to be outside for playing and learning regardless of the weather and are proud to have resilient pupils who enjoy being in the outdoors.  Wellies and waterproofs are essential items in our school uniform. 

We are proud to have a caring, friendly and approachable ethos.  We are staffed by two part time head teachers, one full time teacher, four part time teachers and 3 part time Pupil Support Assistants.  The school has a canteen and pupils are able to enjoy a freshly prepared meal every day.  A Facilities Operative supports the school one morning a week and we have a school administrator 5 days a week. 

The Primary School works closely with our Nursery which allows better transitions from Nursery to Primary 1.
